New changes to TCPA law paves way for Mobile Marketers

There have been some exciting advancements recently in the Mobile Marketing industry that will help better protect your customers, and your business.  A new TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) law recently went into on October 16, 2013 that now requires prior electronic consent to send your customers or audience any mobile text message, voice broadcast or other mobile offers.

Businesses and Marketing Agencies must see this informative Webinar put on by the MMA (Mobile Marketing Association) that discusses the new law and what you should be aware of before conducting any mobile marketing campaigns (including text message advertising) or voice broadcasts. If your business is not mindful, it may be subject to large fines if your customers or audience do not legally opt-in first.

With more and more people adopting Smartphones and tablets, mobile text marketing is already proven to be a low-cost and very direct way to reach an audience, but just make sure the service provider you use (like Mobile CI) follows the guidelines and regulations set forth by the MMA, TCPA and other organizations to avoid costly mistakes. For more information about how mobile marketing can help grow your business, or have questions surrounding this new law, please call us at 480-422-1727 and we’d be happy to answer any questions you have.
